Oil Paintings
Neil Sowards and his sister were very impressed by the paintings of Sanda Win Tun. She specialized in portraits and was, in our thinking, the best in Burma (Myanmar). Neil’s sister ended up with what was probably the largest collection of her paintings in the United States.

109. Watermelon Girl, Sanda Win Tun 1992, Oil on canvas, American Walnut Frame, 23 ¾ by 20 3/8 inches, 21 by 17 ½ inches. Sanda painted this picture for us from a photograph my wife took at the Mandalay train station.
