Neil Sowards and his sister were very impressed by the paintings of Sanda Win Tun. She specialized in portraits and was, in our thinking, the best in Burma (Myanmar). Neil’s sister ended up with what was probably the largest collection of her paintings in the United States.

98.  Kachin Lady, Sanda Win Tun 1992, Oil on canvas, American Frame, 23 3/8 by 18 3/8 inches, 20 by 15.   The Kachin are one of the ethnic groups of Burma and live in the far north of Burma.
