The chinthe is a mythological beast sort of a combination of a lion and dragon. Overall dimensions 10 3/4 by 8 3/4 inches. One mat with glass. Painting is 6 1/2 by 4 1/2 inches (165 x 113 mm.) Monks often carry umbrellas to protect their shaven heads from the sun.
